During the Summer of Podcasts II contest, you were asked what was the best produced show from the list. The votes are in and the following 5 were selected (in no random order):
- Mike Tech Show
- Bitnapping TV
- Moxie Mo
- The iPad Show
- The Practical Amateur Radio Podcast
After grueling hours of eating cheese puffs and sitting in front of the player, I am happy to announce the winner of the Best produced podcast.
OK. The listeners made the decision:
Congratulations to the iPad Show!
The iPad show was the most chosen from the list. Because of this, Dave and Steve win not only a copy of Wirecast by Telestream, but also the iPad show will be one of 4 shows critiqued at BlogWorld & New Media Expo.
One session of BlogWorld & New Media Expo will consist of a panel of 4 people that will review each podcast and tell us what they like and what they don’t like about the show.
Congratulations to all the podcasts that participated.
The winners of the Summer of Podcasts II contest were announced on Sept 8th at 7 PM EST. Each winner will be contacted by email within the next 72 hours.
Because of a small technical difficulty, the Summer of Podcasts II drawing will be held on Wednesday, September 9th. Winners will be drawn for all but the best produced podcast (which will be held next week).
Please come back then for the list of all winners.
Thanks to everyone for participating in the Summer of Podcasts contest!
Some things have changed in the contest, which I have sent email out to all podcasting participants. However, an executive decision was made to end the contest 1 month early.
Each show has one more code to give out. Take a listen for the next couple weeks and enter the codes up until Sept 1st.
The LIVE DRAWING will be held on Sept. 6th.
Change in Best Produced contest
There was a change at how this contest will be judged. The winner will still be announced and a prize given. So voting for which show you think is the best produced is still important.
I apologize for the changes. It was an executive decision coming from another source that made this change necessary.
Congratulations to the following people:
- Brian Sweet won a Verbatim Store and Go Thumb Drive by entering a code at Moxie Mo
- Chris Rea won a copy of System Mechanic Pro by entering a code at the Practical Amature Podcast
- Rob Clark won a copy of PerfectDisk 11 by entering at Moxie Mo
- Rich Gordonf won a copy of Ultra Software Training Tutorial DVD by entering a code at Practical Amature Podcast
- Joshua Dick won a LG Bluetooth Headset by entering a code at Practical Amature Podcast
All contest drawings are done at Random.org. We run a list randomizer on the names (mixing the names 3 times), then pick a number through their number randomizer.
Stats on shows will be posted later today.
